Infrastructure Takes Center Stage at State Capital

JACKSON, Miss. – Working to keep your roads safe.

The state chamber saying it will cost an additional $375 million to get Mississippi roads and bridges back up to par.

So far, you’ve spent over $3 billion on roads, the past 25 years.
Some of the proposed ways to get the money include a gas tax, a general sales tax increase or possibly adding a $10 fee on license plates.
Gov. Bryant says he’s not a fan of raising taxes.
