D’IBERVILLE, Miss. – He is guilty of DUI and not wearing a seatbelt. Todd Harrell, the former bassist for Mississippi based band 3 Doors Down, got that announcement from a judge Friday morning. He was accused of running a flashing red light and then rear-ending truck at an intersection in D’Iberville back in July 2012.
Prosecutors say Harrell was also under the influence of prescription drugs during the wreck, but that evidence never made it to court because the person who drew his blood just happened to not show up.
Now that this is out of the way Harrell faces more serious charges for another DUI wreck in Nashville that killed a man.
