$4.9 Million Headed to Biloxi

BILOXI, Miss. – BP will be paying the city of Biloxi $4.9 million for losses associated with the 2010 oil spill.

The oil companies financial obligations are estimated to total around $53.8 billion, with the five coastal state receiving $18.7 billion.

Biloxi officials agreed to the settlement on Tuesday and are expected to get the money within 30 days.
