PEARL, Miss.- Mississippi Highway Patrol is about to have a lot more patrolmen on your highways. Cadet Class 61 graduated Thursday.
The class began Nov. 9, 2014. There were 48 cadets sworn in as state troopers and is the first class funded by the state in three years.
Governor Phil Bryant was the keynote speaker, “469 people applied, 136 qualified and 49 graduated, congratulations!”
