SHARKEY COUNTY, Miss. – A hunting trip over the weekend turns deadly in Sharkey County.
Daniel Franklin, 24, of Canton was asked by a couple of his buddies to go Duck hunting in the Delta National Forest.
Shortly after they got out on the water his boat overturned.
The county coroner told WAPT that Franklin died from an accidental drowning when the water in his boots weighed him down.
His girlfriend says the tragedy has yet to set in.
