The Jackson Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened in the 300 block of Derrick Street sometime around 7:30 Monday night.
Officers found a black man outside of a home in that area unresponsive and suffering from what looked like multiple stab wounds.
The victim was later pronounced dead on the scene. So far no witnesses or suspects have been identified. The victim’s has been identified as 36-year-old Jason Madison.
