Flags will be at half staff tomorrow. Governor Phil Bryant has issued the order in observance of Peace Officers Memorial Day, which is part of Police Week. This is a time to pay tribute to those law offices killed in the line of duty. President Obama has also ordered the American flag be flown half staff too for the same reason.
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety will hold its annual Fallen Officers Memorial tomorrow morning at its headquarters in Jackson.
