OXFORD, Miss.–American Idol is coming back to Mississippi in the form of a bus tour that will stop in Rebel Country. The show’s producers tell News Mississippi it’s the second annual bus tour to find undiscovered talent. Oxford is on the list.
Mark your calendar for Aug. 19. No specific location has been named, but the bus tour is for auditions for the show and you can increase your chances of getting on two ways: Make a video audition of yourself singing and submit it online at www.americanidol.com (one video per person), and when you audition show your performance skills by singing a capella.
You can also visit the website to follow the bus around the country and for exclusive videos, etc.
The tour will also be in Little Rock Aug. 17, Tuscaloosa Aug. 21, Knoxville Aug. 23 and Chapel Hill, N.C. Aug. 26.
