D’IBERVILLE, MISS– When police arrived to Landmark Apartments Wednesday, they found a 10 month-old baby dead in the floor.
The infant lived with the father and grandparents in the apartment. The baby was found unresponsive. The grandfather woke the father up after finding the baby.
The grandfather says the father was hysterical and ran from the building, according to WJTV.
Police found the baby dead in the floor. Moments later, they found the father hanging in a stairwell in a neighboring building.
Investigators are approaching the baby’s death as a homicide.
