Bank Robbery and Fake Bomb Threats are Connected, According to Grenada Police

GRENADA, Miss. — Three people have been arrested after police say they called in fake bomb threats to two Grenada schools to distract officers while they robbed a bank.

The bomb treats at Grenada Upper Elementary School and Grenada High were called in Friday shortly after noon.  While police evacuated and searched both campuses, dispatch received a call of a robbery at Regions Bank.  Witnesses said two men wearing masks came in with guns and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing in an SUV.  Police quickly found the vehicle; and later arrested Latrell Moss and Rayford Moss.  A third suspect, Justin Clark, eventually turned himself in.

Through their investigation, police also linked Rayford Moss and Clark to an August 31 robbery at the Holiday Inn Express.

> All three men are being held at the Grenada County jail.
