JACKSON, Miss.- There was a bank robbery confirmed in Northeast Jackson on Tuesday. The robbery happened at around 12:30 in the afternoon at the Regions Bank in the Jacksonian Plaza.
WLBT reports that police arrested a woman in connection with the robbery at a nearby car wash shortly after the incident happened, and that the woman will be charged with strong-armed bank robbery.
There was a surveillance video discovered showing the woman dumping what police say is a bag of money taken from the bank into a dumpster.
Police recovered the bag, and the money.
