TISHAMINGO COUNTY, Miss. — The search for a missing boater has ended. Thursday, the boater found dead. His body was spotted by a barge operator just three miles south of Crow’s Neck in Tishomingo County and was retrieved by the Corp. of Engineers according to the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal.
The man fell from a boat while on Bay Spring Lake late Friday. Two other men were on the boat when it happened. No foul play was suspected. There is still no word on the boater’s name while the family is being contacted.
