Bomb Threats Target Crystal Springs Schools

CRYSTAL SPRINGS, Miss. – Bomb threats were called in Wednesday morning to Crystal Springs High School and Crystal Springs Elementary School.

Both campuses were evacuated by the Copiah County Emergency Operations Center, and police searched the buildings.

High school students have been sent to Crystal Springs Middle School’s gym, and the elementary schools are in a new safe house.

Parents, who want to, can pick up their children.  If not, once the buildings are declared safe, the students will be taken by buses back to school.
