BREAKING: Ole Miss Chancellor’s Contract Not Renewed

OXFORD, Miss.- Dan Jones had just returned office after months of fighting cancer when he got the news. The State College Board decided against renewing his contract. They renewed all other university chancellors. Jones had been Chancellor of Ole Miss for 6 years when he was diagnosed in November with Lymphoma.

He returned to his office after chemotherapy treatment just five days ago.
