Hinds County Sheriff’s officials were on the scene near Terry on Thursday where a 25-year- old Byram man was fatally electrocuted.
Major Pete Luke said that 25-year-old Christopher Bias of Byram was killed in what appears to be a tragic accident when a dump truck loaded with asphalt made contact with an overhead power line. This caused the truck to be electrically charged.
A paving company was working on a private driveway when the incident occurred and Co-workers attempted CPR on Bias, however, he did not respond.
The Hinds County Coroner’s office was called to the scene.
