CANTON, Miss. – A 72-year-old woman was tasered after a four hour standoff with police.
Authorities arrived at the woman’s house and tried to get here to come to the door.
After she didn’t respond, they went in. The woman had by then, barricaded herself in a bathroom with a revolver by her side.
The police then decided to re-group and re-asses the situation. Officers eventually went in and used a taser to take down the woman.
She’s been taken to a near by hospital, for evaluation.
