NEWTON, Miss.–A car and an 18-wheeler hit Monday night in Newton and three people are dead. The Miss. Highway Patrol said Monday that the car may have run a stop sign in front of the truck.
It happened about 9 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 15 and Martin Luther King, Jr. Dr.
The three people who died were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names had not been released as of Tuesday morning.
