MCCOMB, Miss.- A little boy is recovering after getting hit by two cars while trying to catch the school bus Wednesday.
Police told WJTV, 8-year-old Damien Cotton was crossing Highway 51 around 6:30 Wednesday morning to catch the school bus when he was hit by a car that knocked him into southbound traffic where he was hit by another car.
Cotton was taken to the hospital where he is currently recovering from his injuries.
