A Harrison County man is behind bars for the alleged kidnapping of his girlfriend.

Harrison County Sheriff Troy Peterson stated that 39-year-old Joshua Johns, of Saucier, turned himself after he was charged with Kidnapping.

A news release stated that Johns allegedly held his girlfriend against her will back on August 3rd after a “domestic dispute”, and she made several attempts to leave, but Johns wouldn’t let her go.

Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

After he turned himself in, Johns was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and his bond was set at $100,000.
