Counterfeit arrest in Carthage

CARTHAGE, Miss.- Police arrested two people in what they believe to be a ring of counterfeit bills being used at local businesses. 

The two men were Ernest Davis Jr., 59, and Ricky Nettles, 49, of CAmden. They were arrested on charges of passing counterfeit bills. They did this at the local Walmart and Fortune Mart. Davis turned himself into police after the footage from the Walmart was released.

They were passing $100 bills at these places and it was noticed by the businesses.

Three more incidences have shown up across the area. Police are also looking for a black male and white female who are using $50 counterfeit bills at Sonic and Jr. Food Mart. Other local law enforcement are becoming involved.
