Couple in Jackson County admits to drug-trafficking trade

GULFPORT, Miss.- A husband and wife have plead guilty to federal charges regarding a drug-trafficking case in Jackson County. 

Melvin Eugene Summers,36, of Moss Point accepted a plea agreement to federal charges of conspiracy to distribute marijuana and firearms. His wife, Alicia Yvette Graves, 29, plead guilty to conspiracy charges and providing false information to obtain a firearm.

The sentencing will be held April 1, 2016.

Graves is still free on bond pending her sentencing. Summers is being held at the Pearl River County reports The Sun Herald.
