PEARL, Miss. –. Police are looking for a man who posted an ad to sell a used Toyota Corolla on Craigslist, but eventually scammed the buyer.
Investigators say an Ohio man agreed to pay $1,600 for the Corolla and sent a moneygram to the Walmart in Pearl. After calling several times to confirm that his payment had been received, he was eventually told that the car featured in the online ad didn’t exist.
