Get ready to lose an hour of sleep because it’s time to turn the clocks forward.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins Sunday at 2:00 a.m. So, before heading to bed Saturday night, be sure to set the clocks ahead one hour.

Sunrise and sunset will be about one hour later on Mar 10, 2019, then the day before and there will be more light in the evening.

Daylight Saving Time was first used in Canada in 1908. Today, Daylight Saving Time is used in over 70 countries worldwide and affects over 1 billion people every year, however, the beginning and end dates vary for each country.
