Dead turtles washing up on the coast

WAVELAND, Miss. – Researchers at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies are trying to determine the spike in the number of dead turtles found along the Gulf Coast.

Their best guess is that it’s either due to red tide or the 2010 BP oil spill.

Whatever the case is, researchers are very concerned and will continue to try and analyze the turtles.
