Delta Principal’s School Day Ends with Seat in Deputies’ Car

TUNICA COUNTY, MS – An assistant principal at Rosa Fort High School was fired and taken off campus by Tunica County Sheriff Deputies.

It was necessary, investigators say, because a 15-year-old special needs student claims she was gang raped at the school.

Shirley Cathey and a teacher were fired for violating school board policy.  The teenager’s allegations remains under investigation.
