Double Shooting In Wiggins: Police Say It Had to Do With a Four-Year-Old Feud

WIGGINS, Miss.–Text messages about a fight from four years ago may be what led to a double shooting Wednesday night in Wiggins. It happened in a residential neighborhood where very few calls are taken by police.

Samuel Miller is charged with shooting Cory McLaughlin in the stomach, arm and thigh about 10:30. James Bryan was also hurt, but police did not say for sure whether he was shot. McLaughlin is already out of the hospital.

WLOX reports that police said Miller is the one who called 911 after the shot McLaughlin.

The shooting happened after the texts got threatening and the three men met up in the street.
