Electric Lineman Killed: East Miss. IDs Ten-Year Employee Who Died Tuesday

KOSCIUSKO, Miss.–IF you know anything about electricity, you know you’ve got to be extremely careful if you’re working on it or around it. An East Miss. Electric Power Assoc. lineman from Louisville was killed Tuesday while working on high voltage lines. He’s now been ID’d as a ten-year employee of the company.

Robert Whitehead, of Louisville, was electrocuted about 2:45 Tuesday afternoon while working on lines in the northern part of Attala County, said the company’s office in Louisville.

Whitehead had worked there more than ten years and now the company and the Attala County Sheriff’s Dept. are both investigating to find out exactly what happened.
