Escaped Pike County Inmate Found

PASCAGOULA, Miss.- A Pike County Community Work Center inmate that escaped from a work detail Monday has been captured and is back behind bars.

Police said 19-year-old Dustin Larrison was found just after 7 p.m. Monday night in a motel parking lot in Pascagoula. He was in the Mississippi Department of Transportation truck he had escaped in earlier that day.

Larrison is serving a seven year sentence for three counts of burglary from Jackson County and will now face more charges for escaping.

Larrison was taken to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County.
