STAR, MISSISSIPPI– Faith Hill, a Star native, will be honored Saturday by receiving a Mississippi Country Music Trail marker.
This is the 30th marker placed on the trail. The marker will be placed Saturday at the corners of Mangum and Main streets in Star at 1pm.
Hill has been pursuing her singing career since she was 19. She’s had #14 singles top the charts on Billboard, as well as a few hits with her husband Tim McGraw, with whom she has three daughters.
Hill is also a philanthropist, and is currently working on production for a new show based in Nashville that will start next year.
