Seaberry was the founder of the well-known hang out Po Monkey’s Juke Joint, located near the Marigold in the Delta. When he didn’t show up to open the place last Thursday friends got worried and went to check on him.

He was found dead in his bed. Deputy coroners Ted Ray and Murray Roark believe he suffered a heart attack.

Seaberry was instrumental in the development of the blues scene in Mississippi. The spot became a tourist destination for people from around the world.
