HATTIESBURG, Miss.–Anthony Alford, Sr. and his wife Lawanda are the parents of former Southern Miss quarterback Anthony Alford (who left the team and transferred to Ole Miss in January 2013). They are also in a lot of trouble.

Drug warrants were recently issued for both of the Alfords. Anthony, Sr., 41, of Petal, was arrested Monday in Hattiesburgon charges of selling Oxycodone.

Lawanda Alford was wanted, but WDAM reported she had not yet been arrested.

Another family member, Jasper Brown, 22, who is also the senior Alford’s son, was picked up friday on pot possession and sale of Oxycodone. His bond has been revoked because he was already out of jail from a charge that he had a gun on the USM campus.
