South Mississippi, sunshine as well, today, reaching up to a high of 89 degrees. Mostly clear tonight, with a low around 75. Tomorrow, there’s a  20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 89. Breezes of 10 mph in the afternoon.
Central Mississippi, sunny today, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 97. Tonight, mostly clear, with a low around 70. Mostly sunny tomorrow, as we gratefully barrel toward the first weekend of autumn,  with a high near 93.
