First weekend of fall won’t bring the autumn air

JACKSON, MISS– The second day of fall is kicking off the weekend with the chance of rain on the horizon.

South Mississippi – Today will be sunny, with a high near 89 degrees. Tonight, mostly clear, with a low around 76. Tomorrow, your first fall weekend, won’t have that autumn ‘crispness’ in the air. We’re looking at a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, then mostly sunny, with a high near 89 degrees.
North Mississippi – Mostly sunny today with a high near 93. Tonight will turn partly cloudy, with a low around 70. Tomorrow, as we roll into the weekend, it will be mostly sunny, with a high near 94 degrees.
Central Mississippi – Not like fall, at all. Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 97. Tonight, becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 72.Tomorrow, Saturday brings mostly sunny skies, reaching up to a high of 92 degrees with a mostly sunny Sunday and a high of 92.
