LONG BEACH, Miss.- A Taste of Long Beach is a culinary event highlighting local food from more than 15 different restaurants. There will be venders, live music, wine tasting, a silent auction and a raffle.
Jane Levens Director of Long Beach Chamber of Commerce said, “This is the sixth year this event has been going on. We invite all the restaurants in the Long Beach area to come and give a sampling of their best dish or their favorite dish.”
The money earned goes to small business grants and to scholarships for seniors that attend school in the Long Beach area.
A Taste of Long Beach will be held Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Harper McCaughan Town Green.
