51 year old Gina Palasini is doing time for the crime of scamming the elderly in Wayne County, reports WTOK. Palasini was running a fraudulent Medicaid consulting business, claiming to help people. Instead, Palasini scammed about $210,000 from her clients, and that’s just in Wayne County.
Palasini faces charges in Sunflower and Pike counties as well. Palasini has been sentenced to 10 years, which is the maximum sentence, plus she has to pay restitution of $210,000. Palasini is also under investigation for mail and wire fraud.
