Friday weather rundown: 7-7-17

North Mississippi finally catching a day with minimal rain chances. You’re looking at a dip in humidity as well, and a light breeze to help carry you through your Friday. Today’s high only peaking in the upper 80s. Tonight’s not looking too bad, either: you can expect things to be a little on the muggy side, but lows will be in the mid 70s.

Central Mississippi you can expect some increased rain chances this afternoon, so grab the umbrella before you hit the door. You’re looking at about a 60 percent coverage. Today’s high pushing right up against the 90 degree mark. Rain returns for your weekend: tomorrow you’ve got a 50/50 chance of catching a stray thundershower, highs around 90, and Sunday just about the same.

South Mississippi looking at several days of rain ahead: 60 percent today, tomorrow and on into Sunday and the work week. Highs will top out in the upper 80s, with lows falling into the mid 70s.
