Friday weather rundown: windy, cool & cloudy with thunder possible

After a rough morning, north Mississippi is waking up to temperatures flirting with the freezing mark, in fact, the National Weather Service has put out a frost advisory for today and tomorro. You can expect nights near freezing for the next several days. Today warming to a high in the lower 60s, but with a stiff breeze, so you’ll be keeping that sleeve wrapped tightly around you all day. Clouds stick around through the weekend, with a chance for rain Monday.

Central Mississippi seeing temperatures in the low-to mid-forties this morning as thunderstorms scatter through the area. Look for cloudy skies all day. Your high peaking into the lower 70s with windy conditions marking the day. Saturday could see another round of thunderstorms breaking over the area through the afternoon, cooling things off significantly: highs in the 60s, lows in the 40s/30s.

South Mississippi feeling temperatures in the upper 40s this morning. Cloudy skies lasting all day. Your Friday high pushing into the upper 70s, getting awfully close to 80 in some places, tho you can expect a chilly low in the 40s tonight. Look for a cloudy, warm Saturday with a high around 70, but Sunday looking brisk with a high in the mid 50s.
