D’IBERVILLE, Miss.–a fund has been set up to help the Ward family in D’Iberville after brother and sister Amanda and James Ward were killed in a wreck Friday morning on their way to school. Their father, Jimmy Ward, was a fireman in Gulfport.
The fund is at Bancorp South, and if you’d like to donate, ask about the Jimmy Ward Gulfport Fireman Fund.
Amanda, 16, had just gotten her license and was driving her brother James, 14, to school when their Altima was hit by a truck at an intersection. The kids attended D’Iberville High and were both well-known athletes.
