JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. – A 46 year-old Vancleave man has been charged with 18 counts of possession of a Counterfeit Instrument.
Jackson county has seen an uptick in counterfeit cash as of recent, and local law enforcement believes this incident to be just one of many counterfeit situation in the area.
Malcolm Ellis McDaniel is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center, with an $18,000 bond.
If you are found to be in possession of counterfeit money you can be arrested and charged with one count of Possession of a Counterfeit Instrument per bill.
