Gov. Phil Bryant will be joined by University of Mississippi Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter, Oxford Mayor Pat Patterson, Visit Mississippi Director Craig Ray, and Mississippi music and Culture Ambassador Steve Azar on Thursday to announce the headlining act for the Bicentennial celebration in Oxford.
The announcement will be at 2:00 p.m. at Rowan Oak in Oxford. For anyone interested in attending Double Decker buses from the parking lot at northwest corner of the Old Taylor Road and HWY 278 intersection will be available.
