Governor Bryant Vouches for Trump After Cruz Steps Out

JACKSON, MISS– Senator Ted Cruz ended his presidential campaign after losing Indiana to Donald Trump on Tuesday. 

Moments later, Governor Phil Bryant vouched his support for Trump.

When Senator Ted Cruz visited Mississippi in March, Governor Bryant went public with his endorsement of Cruz. Now that Cruz is out, Governor Bryant says his support is to Trump, who has the responsibility of bringing together the Republican party.

Governor Bryant adds that a Clinton administration would be unacceptable.
