Grab the Jacket for Today, Another Night of Freezing Temps Ahead

JACKSON, MISS– You may have had a thin layer of frost on the ground this morning. You’ll have that for one more night, and even though the temperature will rise a little, it’ll still be a cold Thanksgiving week.

Frigid, cold morning, a frost thawing across the state today as temps slowly creep up into the 50’s and 60’s across the state.

North Mississippi, clear and sunny today, high in the low 50’s, dipping down below freezing in the low 30’s tonight, so you’ll want to cover those plants.

Central Mississippi, you’ll see a lot of sunshine today with a high in the upper 50’s, with the low dancing around freezing overnight.

South Mississippi, you’ll see lots of sunshine today with a high in the 60’s, around freezing as the sun goes down.

Tuesday is getting a bit warmer but not by much. It’ll be above freezing across the state overnight, with highs in the 60’s.
