Grab the Raincoat for Today, The Jacket Tomorrow: Rain Moves Across the State, Bringing Cooler Temps

Jackson, Miss– You’ll need that umbrella before you walk out today, but you’ll need a good jacket for the rest of the week, reports the National Weather Service. 

North Mississippi as that high struggles to reach the mid 50’s you’ll be dealing with showers. Low tonight drops into the 40’s and the rain clears out.

Central Mississippi you’re dealing with fog and rain with a high pushing 60, overnight lows plummeting in the 40’s as rain continues through the night.

South Mississippi, warmer but still raining, high reaching into the 70’s, dropping into the 50’s overnight as rain steadily pours.

Wednesday it’ll be sunshine for you in North Mississippi, but the rest of the state is dealing with rain.

Highs for North Mississippi Wednesday are only reaching the mid 50’s but it’ll be a clear and sunny day, dropping into the mid 30’s for a brisk overnight low.

Central Mississippi the rain will keep on falling during the day Wednesday as the high reaches the upper 50’s, dropping into the upper 30’s overnight as the rain starts to move its way out.

South Mississippi rain through the day on Wednesday, high in the upper 50’s, and the rain moving on brings cooler temps, overnight low in the 40’s.
