GRAPHIC: Phone call released from 911 call from Alex Deaton carjacking

It was a nightmare come to reality for two teenagers who were visiting La Luz walking trail in Sandoval County, New Mexico.

Out from the edge of the woods walks a man police have identified as Alex Deaton, who was wanted for murder in Mississippi, and other crimes in New Mexico and Kansas.

Devon Philo, 19 and Sara Reeves, 18 were sitting in the white 2004 Accord when Deaton pulled his gun and abducted them and stole the car. Philo was able to get away, but Reeves was kidnapped, got away, taken again, and then finally able to get away to find help from a firefighter.

In the moments between Philo and Reeves’ reunion, Philo called 911 after getting help from a good samaritan who was taking him to get medical attention.

Warning: This is an uncut, graphic phone call that some may find disturbing. Strong adult language within.
