Guilty Plea to Destroying Oil Spill Evidence

NEW ORLEANS – A former Haliburton manager has plead guilty to destroying evidence after the BP oil spill back in 2010. Halliburton was BP’s contractor on the oil rig that exploded. Anthony Badalamenti could have to pay a $100,000 fine and spend one year in prison. His sentencing scheduled for Jan. 21.

That oil spill killed 11 people including 4 Mississippians.
