GULFPORT, Miss– Russell Bangs, the homeless man found dead in a ditch in Gulfport Thursday, died of accidental drowning, reports the Sun-Herald.
Bangs was found by two friends Thursday. Bangs body was in a ditch behind a Gulfport shopping center just off 49 South. Bangs was homeless but had been living and sleeping in the culvert behind the shopping mall. Toxicology and blood results are still pending.
