Hattiesburg Man Sentenced In Cuco’s Shooting

HATTIESBURG, Miss– Shooting up a restaurant during lunch hour is what landed Scott Tyner one hundred years in the pen. Tyner was sentenced one hundred years behind bars Tuesday, reports WDAM.

It was lunch hour in April 2012 when Scott Tyner walked into Cuco’s Mexican Restaurant in Hattiesburg and started shooting, injuring five people. Tyner then walked away from the restaurant and was later captured by police.

October 2014, Tyner entered a guilty plea after going through mental evaluation and the forensics placed him at the scene.
