Time flies as we have a just a few weeks remain in the high school football regular season as we approach the end of October.
Here are some of this weeks top matchups:
The Pearl High School Pirates are 10-0, and they will take on Oak Grove (5-4).
In region 1 of 6A Tupelo (9-0) and Horn Lake (7-1) are neck and neck, and they will face off tonight.
In a premier matchup in region 3 of 5A, first place Brookhaven (8-1) will take on South Jones (7-3).
In region 4 of 5A, Hattiesburg will put their 9-0 record on the line against Long Beach (6-3).
In 4A, 1st place Pontotoc (9-1) will welcome Shannon (7-3) to town for this week’s matchup.
In 3A, another battle between the top spots as North Panola (9-0) will take on Water Valley (7-3) on the road.
In 2A, Philadelphia (9-1) takes on Scott Central (10-0) with a division title on the line.
In 1A, Hollandale Simmons (9-0)will face off with Ray Brooke (6-1-1-).

Jackson Prep is a perfect 10-0 coming into a game with Parklane Academy (9-1) for a battle to see who will claim the top seed in the 4A MAIS division 1 playoffs.
Jackson Academy (7-2) takes on (La) Oak Forest (6-3)
Starkville (9-1) travels to Warren Central (6-3).
Oxford (7-3) welcomes Hernando (4-5) to town.
