WINSTON COUNTY – A plywood mill being built in Winston County is bringing with it about 350 new jobs.
Following the tornado that Louisville last April, the county was left with an unemployment rate of around 9.5 percent.
An investment by Atmos Energy of nearly $500,000 to build a gas infrastructure that transfers gas to plants in a more direct and efficient way, will help Winston Plywood lower their cost of doing business.
