Husband Murdered, Why Former Police Officer Wife Was Arrested This Week

GREENVILLE, Miss.–Who hasn’t gotten annoyed with their husband or wife. But getting mad enough to kill them and then doing it can land you in the lockup for life. That’s the accusation against former Greenville cop Kvonya Moore, 41.

Moore, of Greenville, is charged with first degree murder. The MBI said she shot her husband in the head at their home May 2.

This week, she was finally taken to jail and charged. Her bond was set at $500,000 and she was locked up at the Washington County Jail.

Moore could get life if she’s found guilty, said Atty. Gen. Jim Hood.

The case is being prosecuted by Special Assistant Atty. Gen. Marvin Sanders.
